Description:
Four very old stone pipes given to H.G. Woods by the aboriginal peoples on Bear Island between 1900-1918. The pipes are made in a variety of shapes and have been mounted with wire on to a wooden plate.

The pipes were examined by a visiting archeologist and it was estimated that the pipe with the fish head bowl was over 600 years old. The other three range from 200 to 500 years old.
