Through a Northern Lens : Photographs of Our Community
Mounted on a grey matt board with a dark grey border, the sepia-toned photograph shows a steam locomotive crossing the Old Iron Bridge during the winter. The photo was taken from Sioux Mountain. The train stretches from one side of the lake to the other. There is a stretch of open water under the bridge. The train is heading toward Hudson.

Sioux Lookout came into existence as a railroad town, and still remains a vital part of daily life. Over the years, out community has witnessed big changes in the railroad industry with the advent of the steam engine being perhaps the biggest.
