Description:
A pair of brown leather baby boots. The boots have brown plastic buttons running up the ankles on either side and white stitching. "Edye (Ferguson)" has been written on the soles of each boot.

The Edye's met in Sioux Lookout in the 1910's and went on to raise six children. Dorothy's father had a long career with the C.N.R. and was a great lover of the outdoors. Mrs. Edye was an avid gardener and as her daughter Dorothy relates in Tracks Beside the Water, the cellar was always fully stocked in the winter; the shelves lined with sealers of fruit.
