After completing a B.A. and attending college for Typing and Accounting, she worked at Fullers' Garage in Sioux Lookout where she managed the garage herself after Bill Fuller's death. Donna had a knack for languages and worked as an interpreter for German P.O.W.'s in the Sioux Lookout hospital.
