Description:
This WWI British war medal was presented to Cpl. George Dawson C.F.A. (339174), who was Laura Kidd's brother-in-law.

On one side of the silver coloured war medal is a man riding a horse with a skull and crossbones on the ground below the horse's hindquarters. The man is holding a sword in his right hand. On the other side of the medal is a portrait of King George V. The medal has the recipient's name and rank engraved on the rim.
