Description:
The hat is part of a C.N.R. Conductor's uniform that was worn by Claude Carrothers. It is made of black canvas with two stripes of gold piping running across the top of the brim. The brim itself is small and made of plastic. Just above the brim is a gold coloured plaque that reads "CNR Conductor" in black text.

The inside of the hat has a red lining around the sides and a light brown fabric on top. The top of the hat has been fitted with a piece of clear plastic. Between the plastic and the top of the hat someone has placed various train schedules.
