Description:
This nightgown belonged to Rose Alice (Smith) Scroggie who came to Canada from Lewisham, England in 1919. She spent some years in Port Arthur before arriving in Sioux Lookout in 1923. She worked as a nurse in the old General Hospital on Front Street.

The top portion and the sleeves of this white nightgown have been done in crochet. It has frilly crocheted cuffs and three-quarter length sleeves. There are small white buttons and a white bow on the front. The nightgown is floor length and made of cotton.
